Neptune Foundation launches a free helpline



Neptune Foundation is a social welfare organization that is moulded by compassion and empathy. The Foundation is a CSR initiative of the Neptune Group. The trust holds the testimony to Neptune Developers’ commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility. They have taken the initiative to bring the mentally ill destiutes  who are in need of help in the rural areas under one roof so that their basic needs can be catered to. Neptune Foundation aims at the upliftment of the deprived and needy irrespective of caste, creed, color or religion.

Neptune Foundation is actively involved in the rehabilitation of the mentally ill Destitutes. They are picked up from a location, admitted to Thane Mental Hospital for treatment after following relevant legal procedures and once the patients recover, they are re united with their families. An ambulance was donated to Neptune Foundation by ONGC as an aid for the pick-up of such patients.

The ambulance was officially inaugurated on 26th Nov’14 at the ONGC, NSE Plaza, BKC, Bandra (e). The ambulance was flagged off by ONGC CSR Incharge- Mr. P. T. Anto in the presence of CSR department of ONGC and the team of Neptune Foundation with Mr. Chetan Bheda, Director of Neptune Group.

On this occasion, a helpline number +91-8879881234 has also been dedicated for the pick-ups. The helpline number was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Maharashtra himself, Shri Devendra Phadnavis. The CM appreciated Neptune Developers’ initiative towards the society. Neptune Foundation is dedicated to help mentally ill destitutes and strongly believes in “Service to Mankind is Service to God.” And that by serving humanity, they can serve God.
