Neptune Group shows special concern towards mentally ill people

It is nothing less than a daunting revelation that a minor flaw in the brain nerves could do so much to a human. The body without a properly functioning mind loses its basic metabolism. The entire behavior changes! The senses and organs are not in your control. The motor skills get affected. It is remorseful. Perhaps the biggest blessing is to have a fit body with a sane mind. Unfortunately, there are many who have mental problems. Such people deserve our care. They too deserve to live a happy life. We must not scorn at them and turn oblivious. Helping them is our responsibility. There are various NGOs which work towards helping such mentally challenged people. One such organization is Neptune Foundation.

Neptune Group recently donated walkers at the female ward of Regional Mental Hospital Thane. The walker was presented by a team of workers of Neptune Foundation. Their children too suffer as they have to go from one construction site to another as soon as the work is over and the education suffers. The children of these labourers generally have never seen the formal schools and don’t get good education.
With this in mind Neptune Foundation has built mobile crèches with state-of-the-art facilities at our construction sites. Children are provided with day care, education, health, and nutrition and other medical aids.In our endeavor to explore the budding talents of children, we conduct various events like sports and cultural activities. Neptune Group Hopeful For Revival After Price Fall



For the past half-decade, the real estate sector had been reeling heavily under the severe pressure of decreasing demand, slowdown in economy and soaring property prices across the country, primarily in metro regions such as Delhi/NCR, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Mumbai and others.
It was just a matter of time when the saturation would be reached and customers will start disappearing from the market. Indian realty sector had really started to witness such a scenario where the demand for property was actually hanging by a thread and customers were unable to buy a property due to unaffordable prices and economical dampness. Off late though, the market has started to respond well with sentiments improving and customer footfall increasing at project sites. “A very basic way of understanding whether the market is reviving or not, is when the customer queries and footfall on sites are increased.

We pick them from their location when informed to us or when our qualified and trained social workers trace them, after that those mentally challenged people are admitted to Thane Mental Hospital for treatment & once the patients get recovered they are united with their families. We have achieved a great achievement in this work.
One of the important achievements in this reunion by Neptune Group is that the family, neighbors and friends are instilled with faith upon seeing their relative in a much better psychiatric condition, & now they have strong belief that psychiatric problems are treatable. Knowledge is generated & shared, myths about psychiatric problems are broken, & above all hope is kindled. Neptune Foundation by Neptune Group has a core strategy of focusing on grassroots awareness of the treatability of mental disability is the backbone of our functioning.
We have a strong belief that this approach & the propagation of knowledge help reduce the incidence of untreated mental problems and safeguard them from entering hazardous and vulnerable situations in life. Neptune Foundation launches a free helpline



Neptune Foundation is a social welfare organization that is moulded by compassion and empathy. The Foundation is a CSR initiative of the Neptune Group. The trust holds the testimony to Neptune Developers’ commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility. They have taken the initiative to bring the mentally ill destiutes  who are in need of help in the rural areas under one roof so that their basic needs can be catered to. Neptune Foundation aims at the upliftment of the deprived and needy irrespective of caste, creed, color or religion.

Neptune Foundation is actively involved in the rehabilitation of the mentally ill Destitutes. They are picked up from a location, admitted to Thane Mental Hospital for treatment after following relevant legal procedures and once the patients recover, they are re united with their families. An ambulance was donated to Neptune Foundation by ONGC as an aid for the pick-up of such patients.

The ambulance was officially inaugurated on 26th Nov’14 at the ONGC, NSE Plaza, BKC, Bandra (e). The ambulance was flagged off by ONGC CSR Incharge- Mr. P. T. Anto in the presence of CSR department of ONGC and the team of Neptune Foundation with Mr. Chetan Bheda, Director of Neptune Group.

Mumbai’s 140 year old heritage Kessowjee Nayak Fountain and Clock Tower has undergone a complete makeover this Women’s Day. The Kutchi Community was overwhelmed by this renovation project as the monument was built by the Kutchi Dasha Oswal community’s Shiromani (the most revered person) Late Shri Kessowjee Nayak in 1876. Having being inaugurated by the state’s chief minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis, the event saw great enthusiasm as women performed the traditional ‘Dhol and Tasha’.

The Kutchi Dasha Oswal Community (KDO) is a minority Jain community of our country. With most of its population present in Mumbai, the ‘Fountain-cum-Hut’ monument holds an emotional significance for them. The community came forward to renovate the architecture which is located at Bhaat Bazar, Masjid Bunder, Mumbai. This 20-plus feet monument has been recognized as a ‘Grade II Notified Heritage’.The renovation of this magnificent monument was undertaken by Mr. Nayan Bheda, President KDO Community, and Managing Director of Neptune Group, Mumbai.

The renovation has rewritten the history of its construction on January 8, 1876. It was made using basalt, limestone and malad and red stones. The monument also exhibits a magnificent carving, a metal dome and a tower clock.

Mr. Nayan Bheda has undertaken this project with an emotional attachment to its cause. He said ”We have undertaken the renovation work of this monument to preserve our community’s pride and the glory of commendable work done by our eminent predecessors. Their relentless hard work and contribution to Mumbai’s KDO community has been exemplary and we want to tell their inspiring work to the coming generations. This renovation will reclaim the lost glory of this monument and will soon become Mumbai and Masjid Bunder’s most interesting places to visit.”

Neptune Magnet Mall in Bhandup, Mumbai, India, developed by Neptune Group. Neptune Magnet Mall is planned to be the first international standard shopping center in the city. The mall has a Family Entertainment center call GLEOTST and creche for kids called Happy Minds. The Mall houses branded stores like Biba, Jack & Jones, Only, Vero Moda, Pepe Jeans, Spykar, Woodland, UCB, Marie Claire, Beverly Hills Polo Club, Donear, Louis Phillipe, and Van Heusen besides others. It has many popular restaurants like McDonalds, Pizza Hut, KFC, Sports Box and Cafe Coffee Day. The mall houses one of the world's largest retail chains - Metro Cash and Carry.

The mall has been developed by Neptune Ventures & Developers with an investment of Rs 450 crore and it is partially operational with Metro Cash & Carry and Easyday already trading. The project is said to be Mumbai’s largest mall spread over a gross leasable area of 10,56,000 sq.ft. with four themed atrium. It is also India's second mall to have an in- house ice skating rink.
